Tunisian reputation and tourist image in the face of terrorist propaganda

Abstract

The uprising of the tunisian people in 2011 and the terroristattacks has received an intensive media coverageworldwide and has negativelyinfluenced the sector of tourism. The purpose of this article is to analyse the effect of terrorism and the politicalinstability in Tunisia and in the region as well as the deterioration of the image of this country as a attractive touristic destination. This situation requiresa global framework to restore a positive image in order to regain tourists.
