Mediation for autonomy: changes in dialogue

Abstract

In complex societies, the possibility of dissatisfaction is enhanced, as it does not share an unequivocal view of notions as a project of life. Two situations are therefore based on a precarious balance: the need for communication and recognition processes and the search for respect for subjectivity and identity. In the raster of social initiatives, government guidelines are also inspired by the practice of mediation to tackle conflict in general. This movement points to an increasingly negotiated socio-legal order. By its nature, mediation appears to be in the context of the major promises of the future, as it aims to combine with the administration of a conflict the increase in more autonomous individual and collective practices; the need for exchange and recognition and the uniqueness of each change in dialogue. If the search by consensus is unlikely, an intermediary location announces that both homogeneity and diversity are possible. Mediation moves in this direction as an exercise of tolerance.
