Abstract
There are two texts on Abdellatif Kechiche’s cinema. The first relates to the first four films of Kechiche, in particular the fault of Voltaire, L’esquive and La graine et le mulet. The second focuses specifically on La Vie d’Adèle. They both try to think about the modalities and consequences of Kechiche’s film treatment of life or human existence since the problem of their limit. It will be seen that there is a certain conception and perception of violence, and a sustained and careful exploration of the emotional, proto- or para-political thickness of our social formations.
