Abstract
the author describes the methodology and analysis strategies developed as part of a research project aimed at psycholinguistic analysis of translation performance from a body of oral translations (English-English and vice versa) with a view to reconstructing the strategies underpinning translation. He then presented the specific elements of the translation strategies and their basic structures. Finally, it gives examples of the application of his analysis model and concludes with a quantitative analysis of translation strategies from and into the mother tongue.
