The principal objective of this research is to verify an hypothesis to the effect that a significant difference exists between individuals depending on the level they have reached in their career and their perception of stress factors in their work situation. Language teachers (110) were asked to specify on a Likert type scale (1972), the level of stress experienced at work. An analysis of the findings revealed that only a small difference existed between the various career level sub-groups as related to level of stress.
