This research attempts to verify the applicability of case study within the framework of an inquiry teaching approach in the practical training at the university level. As well, the author explores the pertinence of this approach in investigating reflective processes of future teachers and in the development of professional knowledge. The methodology for this investigation includes an opinion questionaire and qualitative analyses of workshop discussions. These results show both the applicability and the pertinence of this approach.
