Abstract
Abstract: This article presents a reading exercise about the last book of the Barranquillera writer Fanny Buitrago from a centripetal theoretical perspective. I start from a postulate that writers born in the Caribbean are modifiers and creators of epistemological parameters to approach to their reality, and try to unravel characteristics of the particular perspective with which the author assesses the postmodern reality that novel recreates. The work analyzes, furthermore, the postmodernism elements which concern to the Caribbean writer: the publicity and media technology, women, and values.
