Abstract
This article aims to understand how the use of filmed interviews with history actors can be a way to rethink the design of online archives. Although this type of interface often boils down to the digitisation of documents accompanied by a few metadata, it is also possible to think of them as genuine cultural mediations. This leads to a reconsideration of the relationships that are too often perceived as self-evident between history and memory, document and testimony, subjectivity and supposed objectivity, past and present, order and disorder.
