Praise of transhumance: Spanish exile architects in France

France was a country of passage for the architects who have leaved Spain at the final of Civil War. However, it is in France where exile’s architecture have begun, with an ephemeral and urgent feature. The representation of exiled architects in France is reduced to Domingo Escorsa, Gabriel Pradal and Mariano Marcos who settled in this country. Their activity is quite different even if historiography have classed them in the same group or, sometimes, forgotten.
