The purpose of this factsheet is to provide each municipality with a summary of recent knowledge (after 1990) and of the issues related to the flora of its territory, both in terms of species and vegetation.418 species are currently known in Écharcon. The level of knowledge of the municipality’s flora can be described as very good, since the exhaustiveness rate of the inventories is estimated at 77 % (Jackknife index).2 nationally protected species are present in the municipality. 3 species protected in Île-de-France are present in Écharcon6 species present in the municipality are threatened in Ile-de-France: 1 is in critical danger of extinction, 3 are in danger of extinction and 2 are vulterable.7 vegetation in Écharcon is remarkable in the Ile-de-France region. Some are included in Annex I to the Habitats-Faune-Flore Directive. Others are not of Community interest but are decisive for ZNIEFF in Ile-de-France.
