Where these data come from
Since the trust entered by the law

Abstract

National Hearing Draft Law on Trust in Political Life, Law on Trust in the Digital Economy, Regulation on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market, no longer counts the legal texts which aim to strengthen trust. The latter seem to be a response to a crisis of confidence, a crisis in relation to democratic institutions and their ability to solve the complex problems faced by citizens, but also with regard to technologies and industry that pose risks, which are perceived to be increasingly threatening. However, surprisingly, the concept of trust is not explicitly defined by law. There is no text to characterise this concept, which remains vague in its definition and has a dual function in the field of personal data. External signs of trust include labels, which are framed in a continuum ranging from hard to soft law, which must be distinguished from certification and trade marks.
