Abstract
`titrebIs pregnancy denial a denial ?`/titrebA terminological misunderstanding around the confusion of denial of pregnancy, and the denial of schizophrenic existence reflects a certain cacophony during high-profile trials like the Véronique Courjault trial. From Racamier, the denial of pregnancy is viewed as a denial of certain qualities of the object : conception denial ; denial of body metamorphoses ; denial of otherness ; denial of vital process ; denial of the inevitability of childbirth... The lifting of such denials, which are neither negations or partial denials, is likely to lead to catastrophic improvisation of a neonaticide at the time of giving birth which has never been anticipated.
