Abstract
The results of five focus groups with students (ESA) are presented to represent and characterise their interests to assist the institution. Their Social Representations (RS) on the social and personal role of ESA are explored. As a first approach to the problem, an inductive categorisation of responses was carried out on the basis of an analysis of the transcriptions of the implemented focal groups and the ATLAS.ti ® software. The results indicate that the identified RS do not allow these students to critically analyse whether the school leads them to achieve their objectives. The results are inputs to a survey. They also indicate the need to consider the interests and RSs of adults among the factors to be taken into account in rethinking ESA.
