Abstract
The treatment of interference by the regional daily press, when it affects readers in their privacy — that is to say their own territory — is at the source as a reflection of the affinities of readers’ opinions with representations, ideas, desires and fears. The “Roma issue”, as it is today, is representative of this hypothesis. The purpose of this memorandum is to analyse the treatment of the subject of the Roma in the Lyon progress from the event to the terminological shortcuts used. A return on the history of a historical rejection is underway, in order to better understand its contemporary continuity, which is extremely difficult to stop.
