Green Complex Parks (VCPs): Adapting to the constructive practices of the European Union

Abstract

Environment and policy context for global energy consumption, the increase is indisputably the current trend. In line with the international energy context, Réunion is facing growing demand for energy. The strategies put in place in these projects include reducing energy consumption. With a rate of 43.7 % in 2010 [ARER, 2012] the residential sector is the most energy-intensive item on the island. As a result, one of the main areas of development policy is the thermal regulation of the building stock. In this overall context, this thesis has received financial support from the Réunion Region and the European Union (European Social Fund) in order to develop knowledge of the thermal aspect of the VCPs. The thesis Title: Contribution to the study of the VCPs: Modelling, Exposure and Assessment of Global Climate Performance in Tropical Humide. Application on the island of Réunion. Problem: How can we develop green roofs in Réunion in order to adapt them, if possible, to the local context (architecture, climate) and, if necessary, encourage the development of this practice across the Reunionnais area? Present here some elements selected from one of the experimental approaches [JEAN et al.]. The results obtained to verify the potential usefulness of the VCPs in the Reunionnais area.
