Abstract
In this work we first make some considerations about the psychological assessment process and then describe the main advantages of different types of personality assessment tools, behavioural scales, questionnaires and inventories and projective methods. We then discussed the complementarity of the different methods of assessing personality. In the next topic, we discussed the question of the possibility of simultaneously carrying out nomottic and ideographic interpretations based on the results of different psychological evidence, and we warn of the care to be taken when making ideological interpretations. The article ends with the presentation of four clinical stickers illustrating a qualitative/ideographic interpretation of different psychological tests and a short final conclusion.
