Abstract
Violence against women is a current and relevant topic. Therefore, to deal with this demand, professional qualification is necessary. Having this in mind, this study seeks to reflect on how the training process took place within this context for undergraduate students in Psychology at the University of Sorocaba. In order to perform this duoetnographic narrative research, field journals were used, which reported the experience in the specifics academicinternships of Health I and II, held at the Women's Police Station in Votorantim. To carry out the discussion, the study used institutional documents that organize the training in Psychology at the national and regional level, together with the technical references in the area and the experiences reported in the field journals. The reflection made it possible to identify gaps in the training on the theme of violence against women
