Abstract
Build Building upon research in the intersection between sociology of death, sociology of the individual and Information and Communication Sciences, this article studies the way socio-digital platforms, with their different specifications, contribute to re-introducing death into the social`!-- Début du contenu @xml:lang="en" --b sphere and to creating new mourning rituals. Outlining a typology of how memorial websites are used, it shows that post `!-- Fin du contenu @xml:lang="en" --bmortem digital data uses depend on the platforms’ possibilities, constraints and technical formats.
