Some hypotheses derived from the Research Project are presented in this article. Discursive contact strategies in the written press, accredited in SECYT-UNR, are presented in this article. On the basis of a general characterisation of the mass media system today, and by articulating certain general sociological perspectives with a socio-semi-otic approach, different ways of constructing imaginaries and social representations of publicly shared time frames are identified, and progress is being made to characterise the specific features of the various forms of current mediatisation, with particular emphasis on the pre-paper format. Thus, a corpus of copies of Argentinian national newspapers La Nación, Clarín and Página 12 is analysed, on which discursive categories are defined, referring to different forms of reading contracts. In this respect, the various genealogies of the contact acting on each press-paper carrier are specified.
