Selection and loyalty of cavaliers in the equestrian centre

Abstract

Face to a challenge recognised by the profession and in an increasingly competitive context, IFCE and INRARAcarried out a study on the expectations, satisfaction and loyalty of cavaliers as equestrian intersections in order to provide the keys for adapting supply to changing demand. The results are obtained from surveys, online or screw screws, of riders with a variety of profiles and of former practisers. The analysis is based on (1) descriptive statistics on the selection criteria faced by the riders for: horse riding, an equestrian centre, staying in or leaving a club, stopping; (2) modelling the process of satisfaction and loyalty to the equestrian centre; (3) a typology of customer loyalty profiling; (4) a reconstruction of the potential stages of the cavalier path. The results highlight policy levers for equestrian centres, whose princi are: the demand for the common horse for all riders, the central role of the teacher in the process of satisfaction and loyalty to the club, the importance of diversifying his disciplinary offer, while keeping in mind the importance of better targeting his customers in order to adapt the various components of his offer.
