Abstract

In this paper, we present our experience of the translation of Putnam’s book, Ethics without Ontology (Paris, Cerf, 2013). We try to learn lessons from this experience in order to elaborate a policy of translation, that’s to say the idea of a project (that would be active, conscious and sensitive to contexts) of translations based on certain data of sociology.
