Presentation of the main French excavations (Argelliers, Roc de Pamplona, Hérault; The Malène Rocher de La Barre, Lozère) conducted on heightened establishments of the first Middle Ages as part of a cycle of conferences organised by the Institut für archäologische Wissenschaften of the Goethe University (Frankfurt) and the French Institute of History in Germany.
