Abstract
This article analyses the transformations of the mortzinca senorío between the 15th century and the 16th century. From the time when Mr de Calixtlahuaca was known as Pintabati (before the azteca conquest in 1469) until the formation of the Spaniards of Tollocan (1530s), the Valle de Matlatzinco experienced a number of problems, in particular from the time when it was again an imperial fiscal province of the Triple Alliance. It is then when the mechanisms for the usurpation of marital power and its jurisdictions were established and property territories distributed to the members of the Triple Alliance, to the detriment of the natural gentlemen matlatzinca, who were simply eliminated or abandoned. The same strategy was taken up by Mexico’s conquest when it created the Tollocan villa in that region, which was part of its Marquesado del Valle.
