Abstract
The special library which belongs to the Plastic and Visual Arts' Center of Lille wants to join Lille's public library network, which demands to homogenize its database. This project to integrate the network is facing the special library's specificities. Libraries networks aim for pooling, a polysemous concept which designates the sharing of all kinds of resources. A library network must overcome special libraries' specificities. To achieve the goal of pooling would allow libraries belonging to a network to be equal. A network is also a way to guarantee visibility to libraries. One of the most important problems of libraries nowadays is the lack of visibility, especially on the web. To use semantic web's technologies permits libraries to open their catalog's data, which become usable by search engines. Linked data's issues allow libraries to adapt themselves to their users' research methods.
