Dostoievski’s work highlights the existential and social consequences of humanity’s loss of faith. In that article, I shall deal with a number of issues which have revolved around that issue and which are recurring in thestoeivskiano thinking, where they are present in The Large Acquisitor of the Brothers Karamazov. The article is structured in parts where the issue of Dostoievski theopoievski will be addressed, the prophthetics dimension of the Great Inquisitor bulb, the process of erasing the face of the Christmas, the issue of the vacuum behind hypocrisy, the anticlericalism dostoievskiano and, finally, the collision between the values of science and those of faith present in his work and refined in the Grand Purchase.
