Abstract
`titrebS. Augustine and S. Thomas`/titrebThe article proposes a precise examination of all the usages of Augustine’s De praedestinatione sanctorum in the work of Thomas Aquinas. Comparison with other 13th century sources and with Peter Lombard’s Sentences and Glossa shows that Thomas does not always draw his citations directly from Augustine. Even if he cites De praedestinatione sanctorum in the Commentary on the Sentences, his direct knowledge of it comes no sooner than the redaction of De Veritate 14, yet no later than his work on the Catenea aurea in Ioannem. It is not certain, however, that he read this work of the Bishop of Hippo in its entirety.
