Abstract
Rural Communities in Colombia represent a third of the national population. Despite this, they have historically been invisible and had to join a strong social movement to access basic rights. In this connection, farmers in Cabrera have been registered in Cundinque, Colombia, who, through the work of their organisations, have marked the development of the territory. One of the most important achievements of the national peasant movement was the creation of the ZRC figure, which is the only legal tool that recognises the category of peasant farmers, ratifies family farming and promises endogenous development strategies.
