Abstract

Lusotopie is an international comparatist journal, the aim of which is to develop political research into contemporary spaces resulting from Portuguese history and colonisation. It aims to raise all the general problems of political analysis (nationalism, ethnicity, neoliberalism, state reform, federalism, gender relations, civil wars, media, civil society, elections, etc.): its originality is to ‘treat’ them in this post-colonial and composite space, present on four continents and in many diasporas. Appearing since 1994, Lusotopie has published works by authors of more than thirty nationalities, often from southern countries, and created a space for equal dialogue through its systematic use of three international languages (French, Portuguese and English). Lusotopie is an international comparatist newspaper prepared to political analysis of temporary spaces stemming from Portuguese history and colonisation. It deals with general issues in political analysis (nationalism, ethnicity, neo-liberalism, State reform, federalism, gender, civil war, media, civil society, election, etc.): it comes from an original approach within this heterogeneous postcolonial space on the four continents and in numbered Diasporas. Drafted in 1994, Lusotopie has published a wide range of contributions from researchers of over 30 different nationalities, often from Southern countries. It has brought up an egalitarian dialogue space thanks to use three international languages (French, Portuguese and English). Lusotopie é uma revista comparatista internacional Cujo objectivo é o desenvolvimento da investigação política sobre os espaços contâneos provenientes da história e da colonização Portuguesas. Propõe-se approar os problemas gerais da Análise política (nacionalismo, etnicidade, neoliberalismo, reforma do Estado, federalismo, relações de genero, Guerras civis, media, Eleições, etc.): a originalidade da revista é de tratar aqueles problemas no SEIO do espaço pós-colonial e plural, presente em quatro continentes e em Numerosas diásporas.
