Mobile devices as a teaching tool in Aulica participation in history subject

Abstract

Objective: Implement the use of mobile devices as a teaching tool for Baccalaureate students in the history of the Or Education Unit. Method: A study was carried out with a quantitative, quasi-experimental cross-sectional and exploratory scope. In the procedure, 6 autolylic workshops were carried out using two educational methods, one traditional and one innovative one in which mobile devices were used as a learning support tool. The sample consisted of 68 pupils from 2 parallels of first baccalaureate. At the end of each module, a knowledge test was applied as a tool, which assessed the learning acquired. The data were analysed through the SPSS statistical programme by means of medium and fashion central trend measures. Results: There was an improvement in performance and academic participation in the implementation of workshops or classes with the innovative method. Most students got better marks when implementing the module with the innovative method.
