Abstract
This article deals with entrepreneurial guidance (EO) in software organisations. The aim is to propose a consolidated set of elements to guide entrepreneurial guidance in software organisations. To this end, exploratory research was carried out using qualitative data. The data collection was done through in-depth interviews with executives of 13 organisations to conduct a mapping of actual entrepreneurial guidance practices, to understand such behaviour in the organisations and to confirm the elements of the conceptual entrepreneurial orientation basis adopted in the study. As a result, a set of elements of entrepreneurial guidance, consolidated from the literature and actual practice of organisations, is an important reference for guiding actions towards entrepreneurial guidance in software organisations. The study concludes with the enrichment and detail of the conceptual basis of entrepreneurial orientation, the proposal of categories, the aggregation of new elements arising from organisational practice and the consolidation of the set of elements, offering subsidies to software organisations wishing to develop such behaviour.
