Abstract
Globalization came following by the rise of the local giving way to the overall relationship global-local or glocalization, but in recent years, compared with this duality or dichotomy, has been proposing the analysis of the scales of space: from the global to the local. On the global scale, where the four worlds of globalization converging, emphasizes the triad of power (United States, Japan and European Union) and the strong growth of emerging countries (China). To the lower scales (supranationality, state, substate and local) seems interesting to us take as a reference to the European Union for its recent suport for the territorial cohesion, in a moment that suffers from some identity and presence in the world.
