This historical research aims to clarify, according to two new sources: The Union of Valparaiso and El Mercurio of Santiago, the link between the results of the 1902 arbitration and colonization made by the Chilean government in the territory of Magallanes and particularly in Última Esperanza. Also, consider how it would have made that colonization in Última Esperanza, according opinionsand information of the daily investigated.
