Abstract
This thesis deals with French language teaching in Shanghai Industrial and commercial foreign languages school in China. The themes of this work focus on the association of cultural approach and project-based learning in French class in order to motive the students. When analyzing their characteristics, many contradictions appear between these approaches and Chinese learning culture. Therefore, this paper presents the devices of “culture-project” set up in my educational practice based on various theories, to know to what extent these devices can arouse the motivation of the young Chinese teenagers, who had only been exposed to the traditional method for a long period of time.
