Abstract
These catalogues bring together codices from scriptoria cistercians or who have belonged to such a monastery, regardless of the location of the abbey and the time of writing. The major public libraries in Rome (Alessandrina, Archivio di Stato, Casanatense, Nazionale, Vallicelliana) have been skinned and the libraries of the city’s cistercian monasteries (S. Bernardo alle Terme, S. Croce in Gerusalem, Tre Fontane) have been skinned. Many unknown documents are presented here for the first time.
