The other way around in Juan García Ponce’s rite story

Abstract

Matistic has not always transited on the same path or in the same direction. In some literature works it is presented as a mystery vice versa. Juan García Ponce’s talent rite carries out a malicious process by transiting the routes of the bad. On the basis of the nuisance of the body of a young and beautiful woman, erotism and sexual act, it is intended that divinity will manifest itself. This story includes the violation and perversion of social norms of behaviour within the marriage. The characters of the story, Liliana and Arturo, are spouses. However, they like to practise a rite in which an unknown individual is invited to censor. The aim is to implement the hospitality laws proposed by French writer Pierre Klossowski in his novelties Roberte this night and the revocation of the Edict of Nantes. At the lay level, the husband, as the Lord of the house, must have access to the matistic level of Anfitrion; in turn, the Lord of the house, as wife, must access Anfitriona’s matistic level. To do so, the husband must offer his wife the guest, as the third unknown. The husband, like Anfitrion, envisages the sexual act of his wife with the guest: it is Anfitrione; and the unknown third is the angelical element that communicates the lay with the sacred. Divinity is manifested in the sexual act and the nudity of the body of the beautiful woman.
