Abstract
`titrebThe young Sartre and the old Sertillanges : The cross-over of Creation`/titrebWithout falling into the trap of pseudo-scientific considerations upon entropy or cosmology of the « primitive atom », Sartre and Sertillanges have both paid great attention to the genuine metaphysical concept of creation, i.e. the concept of ontological dependency. While Sartre makes the statement that the created entity does not enjoy the least consistency because it depends upon a creator, Sertillanges completely changes the deal : in his view, it is because of its existential consistency that some entity may be described in terms of dependence upon a creator. Two symmetrical answers that are construed in a nearly conceptual scheme.
