Analysis of internet browsing logs in open access to the Bpi: what does Big Data bring?
Abstract
while library access to the Internet has become commonplace in the last 15 years, it is often hampered, accessible under conditions or with limitations. With a renewal of its offer, the Public Information Library (Bpi) sought to know the uses developed from its park of around 100 posts connected to the web. With more than 20 000 monthly bookings and 2 million logbooks per day, Bpi entered the Big Data without knowledge.
