Abstract

In Mexico, there is little relevance between curricula and the real needs of society. This disparity has led to complex transformations within the higher education system. However, the results achieved were not optimal. This study is of an exploratory nature, with an empirical benchmark in public universities, seeks to visualise the process of exclusion, inequality and uprooting from the perspective of students. These scenarios are specifically analysed through the life stories methodology, counting as an analysis platform for students from Veracruzana University, Xalapa region.
