On the concept of completeness of a physical theory
Abstract
In the background of any question about the concept of completeness of a theoretical system, of any kind, we know that some of the results of logic and metamathematics are held, and the names of Gödel and Tarski, for example, must be borne in mind. Although completeness in physics is of a very different nature, it is useful, if only to depart from it, to stop a few moments on this understanding, which has the advantage of a precise definition.
