Formal education has for four decades sought to incorporate technological innovations. First, TV and video that sparked glare and controversy, now the IT technologies that are often fragmented and superficial. In the current context (characterised by globalisation, deregulation and market dominance), the author proposes a strategy for incorporating new technologies into formal education.
