A pluralistic and inclusive approach to the areas of convergence and disorder between local development and equity in Cuba is at the heart of this work that is successful in shaping a national landscape on the subject. 21 articles, from different provinces of the country and from authors of different ages, academic training and practical experience, weaving the threads of the text, characterised by a dialogical and pro-positive style. The analysis of local development management and evaluation processes, with an equity approach, together with a thorough examination of the articulation of actors, social networks and innovative communication products, make this a book necessary to understand the economic and social transformations of today’s Cuba.
