Abstract
in this article we are looking at the sequence of a scalary concessive construction that is homonymous with a scalary concessive construction. The occurrences of this sequence in the speech are varied, but its semantic and narrative value remains poorly defined except for idiomatic words. The focus of our study is twofold: identify the specific features of this structure in order to offer universal glosis and elucidate its phraseological status. After analysing its morphosyntax, semantic and pragmatic particularities, we assign a glosis that highlights its character as a discursive marker: the sequence -от- + VImper is used to reveal a non-trivial aspect of the juxtaposed statement by combining a value of quantitative, emotional or ilvocative intensity. With varying degrees of phraseologisation, some statements are idiomatic expressions, others represent phraseological constructions. Lexically-fixed, non-compositional and reproducible expressions access the status of the words. They are semantically autonomous and lexicalised. Fixed discursive formulae (-от”), the meaning of which is updated only in the communication situation, are comments which allow the speaker to express his or her views or feelings. Syntactically static but linguistically motivated units fall within the scope of structures with a emotional intensity value (-от’), (a) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b) (b and (a), (a), (b) and (a). Nevertheless, the method of assessment remains the common denominator between these units and ensures the cohesion of the whole.
