Abstract
Doping is a major problem of contemporary sport. Despite the near-hegemônic condemnation speech of this practice, the elimination of the sportive scenario seems to be still distant. Based on the premiss that arguments are valid to the extent that they correspond in practice, the purpose of that text is to examine the arguments which support the speech on the immorality of doping in terms of its logical merits. We try to demonstrate through questions and comparisons that these arguments are flawed as they cannot be validated in practice. Finally, we seek to place the issue of doping within a symbolic dimension of sport.
