this study focuses on the economic integration of the region since the fall of the USSR, including trade data in the ECO (Organisation for Economic Cooperation) and the SCO (Shanghai Cooperation Organisation), showing the weak relations between these countries and the influential struggles of major neighbouring countries (Turkey, Iran, Russia, China).
