Research Proposal for the PhD studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University, Faculty of Geography (Autoreferat) The research proposal describes synopsis for the planned PhD research work. It describes methods of the environmental mapping of the Arctic Seas. Special focus is given to the complex structure of the ocean as a unique system with inter-related components. The integrated use of the Remote Sensing, GIS and satellite images processing are analysed.
