Despite centuries of successive dominations of all kinds, which have gone to genocide, intersecting with sometimes successful attempts of independence, Armenia, never abandoning the struggle to maintain its identity, has continued to be an Armenian Armenia. On these pages, the author refers to the story of this courageous and ultimately irretrievable maudit people of this perpetual regaining land, the crossroads between Europe and Asia, a challenge that has passed and is present in the confines of three empires (perse, Russian, Turkish), paying tribute to the magnitude of a civilisation.
