Abstract

Prince Napoléon, son of Jérôme, born in 1822, died in 1891, known as Plon-Plon, but sentenced as Bonaparte, particularly for his commitments after 1845, to European errance — Florence, Genoa, London, Livorno — in 1848, regaining the right to live in the homeland to which he had always been very attached. Elected by Corsica to the Constituent, later MP and then Republican Senator of Sarthe, he protested by loyalty to the 1789 principles against the crackdown on riots...
