Abstract
The aim of this study was to evaluate the somatoensorial profile of 18 sworn splastic hemipartic individuals from stroke with and without visual blockage. As a methodological strategy, the maximum isometric contraction tests were used for flexicurity muscles and elongators of quadril, knee expanders and flexicurers and planar bending in addition to the number of cycles per minute on an ergometric bicycle, which were carried out at two times: open eyes and closed eyes. After statistical analysis, significant differences were found between the two times for each test. It can therefore be concluded that there appear to be a lack of communication between the sensory neural mechanisms for the development of the voluntary act of the individuals assessed.
