Abstract
In current times, there is a growing call for the inclusion of mobile devices in the classroom, such as tablets, mobile phones, smartphones in order to improve the learning teaching practices. However, the presence of these technologies provokes questions, challenges, reflections on the need to rethink the pedagogical practice. For this, the aim of this article is to present a the partial results of an exploratory research to discuss the process of incorporating of this technology in education. Firstly, are presented some thoughts on technological expansion and its applications. And then approached the process of incorporation of ICTs in education: what are the steps required, and the challenges and tensions to overcome, especially according to the training of teachers. The professor continues to be crucial to guide the teaching learning process, but its role of teacher change. It also presents an account of a pedagogical activity carried out with the participation of students from the undergraduate Chemistry, Federal University of Rondônia (UNIR) under the guidance of two teachers (one teacher trainer of Chemistry and a professor of computer science).
