Abstract
thousand years of jarre history are added on the basis of land and subaquatic discoveries in Provence and Languedoc for water storage tanks, oil, wine and other foodstuffs from Islamic and Christian Spain and then produced in local workshops; Biot and Fréjus were the most emblematic at the end of the Middle Ages and throughout modern times.
